NoVA United is a premier AAU basketball program based in Prince William County, Virginia. Our mission is to provide elite young athletes with a platform focused on player development, high-level competition, and recruitment exposure. We prepare players for the next level both on and off the court.
Player Development
High-intensity training sessions focused on technical mastery, basketball IQ, and positional skills.

Evaluation sessions scheduled seasonally by age group.Please refer to the registration form for active blocks.
Check-In
Arrive 20-30 minutes early. Players must check in at the front desk to receive their evaluation bib number.

Fees cover facility rental and evaluation staff. All fees must be paid online prior to the start of the first session. Please check current registration rates below.
Tryout FAQs
Who can try out for NoVA United?
NoVA United tryouts are open to boys and girls in the Prince William County area who are ready for competitive AAU basketball. We currently field teams at the 14U, 15U, 16U, and 17U levels.
How are teams selected?
Players are evaluated on skill, effort, coachability, and how they fit within a team. Coaches look at fundamentals, decision-making, defense, and attitude throughout the full tryout, not just one drill.
What if my child can’t make one of the tryout dates?
If your player has a conflict, please complete the registration form and note the conflict in the comments. A staff member will follow up with options, which may include an alternate evaluation time if available.
What do tryout fees cover?
Tryout fees help cover gym rental, equipment, and coaching staff time for evaluations. They are separate from any team fees that apply if your player is selected for a roster.
What is the commitment if my child makes a team?
Players who make a NoVA United team are expected to attend practices, games, and tournaments regularly, communicate conflicts early, and represent the program with effort and respect on and off the court.
How will we know if our child made a team?
After tryouts, families will be contacted by email (and/or phone) with roster decisions and next steps, including season details, fees, and how to secure your spot.
